100 books

Ema has read 100 books!!!! She is growing up too fast. As her prize she had a friend come and visit for the day! So her friend Esther came and played. We played in the sprinkler, colored, played with their baby dolls decorated cookies. It was really a joy to watch them play and enjoy each other's company.

Mountain Side Park Lemont

This sweet little park is a little hard to find. But if you are looking for a park with a few swings and a small hiking trail this is the one for you. Come for a picnic and walk the trail on the side of Mt Nittany. It is a great distance for little ones and you truly feel you are out in the woods yet so close to the outside world.
It only has a few swings a slide and a monkey bar but our kids love it.
On Thursday and Saturday mornings we are trying to start a play group at this park. 10:30-11:30 if you can come and join us and get to know some other families in the area.

Tudek Park

We recently visited Tudek park with a friend who has some dogs. It is a great place for dogs and kids. A really nice playground and a dog park are offered at this park. It can be chilly if it is a windy day because this park is very open. There is also a butterfly garden so if you go during the summer you can see them flittering amongst all of the flowers they plant to attract them. This park used to have a really cool geo cache in it check out geocaching.com to see if it still is there. There are also many types of sports fields and equipment. This is definitely another one of our favorite ones we frequent.
