We adore Greenwood Furnace SP, this is where we come to go swimming in the lake in the summer
and now we have been able to camp there and the camp ground is one of the nicest SP camp grounds I have stayed in. We had low expectations with the kids but they did great and loved and still a couple weeks later keep asking about when we are going again...a little brisk now for central PA but hopefully in the spring. We had fun roasting marshmallows, hiking and just spending time as a family...a little brisk but we tried our best to stay warm as you can see....
I'm so impressed and hope you had a lot of fun! Our kids keep asking to do this, but I don't know that we as parents are that brave yet :0).
ReplyDeleteI was pleasantly surprised at how well they did...we started with camping in our family room to the back yard and then out to the park...I say go for it....
