A Maiden Named Flower

Ema was all ready for bed tonight and was asking Jeff what she should do. His suggestion was tell us a story.
So Ema proceeded to tell a story about a maiden named Flower. Flower wanted to get married and met handsome prince. But Flower couldn't marry him because he worshiped idols. Then she met another handsome prince who loved Jesus so they got married.

Jethro's Crawling...well he doesn't get his arms around yet but he pushes his legs with all of his might...sometimes he does a face plant but it is soo cute....
The girls have dance class on Thursdays and it is such a joy to watch them flitter and float around the room it brings such tears to my eyes...

Emalyne turned 5!

Our oldest turned five last week and had her friends over for a princess tea party. For dessert she wanted ice cream in a tea cup. A great time was had by all...thanks to all my mom friends for helping.

I can't believe how fast she is growing...where does the time go?

So this month the girls have started dance class. Each week we have to count down the sleeps until class because they just love it and are so excited...they are doing a great job and look so cute!!! Ema turned 5 years old yesterday and this week Jethro figured out how to sit up in his crib now he has to figure out how to lay back down so he can nap...

This is the best day ever!

Ema has such spirit and is so excited for life. Recently I took her rollerskating for the first time. She won a free entry from the summer reading program. She had a blast. I loved watching her try and dance to the music while we skated around the rink....

HALLOWEEN! Happy fall to everyone. We have been enjoying the halloween festivities here in SC. Halloween parade through downtown with friends on Mon. Trick or Treating at the mall on Thursday, Trick or treating and a party this coming weekend...Storytime had a halloween theme at the library this week. It has been great fun. Ema is a Diva/singer, Jael a Pink Butterfly and Jethro a brown bear cub...they look so cute...




We had fun carving pumpkins on thursday as well since Jeff had the day off due to the student conference this weekend. So Jael's is Tinkerbell, Ema designed her own with drawings and everything. Her response when Jeff was done "You are the best Daddy ever.." O painted Jethro a Tigger pumpkin...as you can see the pics of the beginning of it.
